How to reach us securely
- Email: frontierbeat@protonmail.com. ProtonMail is end-to-end encrypted, so your message is protected in transit.
- Encrypted: Ask us for our PGP public key and send encrypted mail if your client supports it.
- Metadata: Even over encrypted email, your account and connection can leak who you are. If you’re at risk, create a fresh, anonymous ProtonMail or Tutanota account on a network that isn’t yours (not work, not home Wi-Fi) before contacting us.
What makes a good tip
- The fact: one or two sentences on what happened.
- Proof: the document, screenshot, or link — primary sources beat summaries.
- Context: who, when, and why it matters.
- Deadline/embargo: tell us if there’s a time constraint.
Attach files with descriptive names. Forward full threads, not single screenshots.
Anonymity
You don’t have to identify yourself. We protect sources: we strip metadata, we don’t share identifying details, and we won’t name you without your consent. If you want to be quoted, tell us how.
What we do
